Puppy Sitters are responsible for taking care of puppies for a few hours at a time.
Though our organization’s puppy raisers do most of the work, there are times when they could use a hand taking care of our service dogs in training. So, when puppy raisers are busy with other things, puppy sitters take the puppies for a short period of time (maybe a few hours) and make sure they’re safe and entertained. Puppy sitters must attend meetings frequently and be very familiar with the service dog in training manual, which outlines the dos and don’ts of taking care of service puppies.
